The Kingdom has the largest world-class health care facilities in the region. In addition to state-owned facilities, a large number of private establishments exist, offering health care services in all areas of specialization. While Saudi Arabia has one of the highest levels of health expenditures per capita in the world, there is a shortage of qualified hospital administrators who can manage the healthcare sector efficiently. Despite the efforts of the Ministry of Health to increase the number of Saudi medical professionals who specialize in management, the demand for qualified personnel to work in an already expanded healthcare sector exceeds the available local manpower. Alfaisal University’s College of Business responds to this important need by offering an MBA track in Healthcare Management.

The MBA Healthcare Management track in the College of Business is offered jointly by the College of Business and the College of Medicine at Alfaisal University. It builds on the established strengths of the existing core MBA program and the university’s solid presence in medical education. The program is tailored to clinical and non-clinical medical professionals looking to enter the ranks of management or for those who are already healthcare managers wishing to improve their skills. Using an integrated world-class curriculum, students receive highly relevant and timely education in the management of healthcare operations.
