Program Overview
The Alfaisal University, College of Medicine MPH program is a 2-year research oriented program designed for working physicians, residents, public health officials, policy makers, medical students and college graduate students interested in public health. Students are inducted into public health research culture through exposure to experienced researchers in the public health field. . Specifically, students have the opportunity to design and conduct community research as well as public health research. At the end of the two-year program, students should develop a comprehensive understanding of the public health professional practice through experience with both academic specialists and experienced practitioners.
Based on letter number 18003583 dated 27/01/1440H 7 Oct 2018 from SCHS university Graduate programs / Clinical and nonclinical ,are not required to have SHCS approval or accreditation.The only approval required for any program is from MOE and NCAAA.
Concentrations
Students in MPH program must choose one of three possible tracks:
- Mass Gatherings Health (Hajj and Umrah)
- Biostatistics and Epidemiology
- Health Policy
