Patents Assigned to Alfaisal University
Alfaisal University faculty, staff and students have been granted over two dozen patents (Table 1). There was a significant increase in annual patents granted going from 1 in 2013 to 8 in 2022. The patents generated with the aid of the Office of Research & Innovation are part of a technology transfer process for converting intellectual property into new products and processes that help in the economic development of the country.
